Concert for Recovery
The Duluth Bethel and the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center announce the Concert for Recovery on Sept. 25 benefitting substance abuse treatment and mental health services.
Four local bands and local food vendors will provide six hours of fun in a new outdoor event space behind the DECC, facing the Duluth Harbor and the Aerial Lift Bridge. Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased here.
All profits support substance abuse recovery and mental health services at the nonprofit Duluth Bethel, which has provided hope and healing to Northland residents for 147 years. The event coincides with September’s celebration of National Recovery Month.
The Northland’s Concert for Recovery will take place in a new event space under development by the DECC along closed Harbor Drive. Concert-goers can enjoy food and dancing along the waterfront while listening to four local bands: Big Wave Dave and the Ripples (pictured above), Virgil Caine, A Band Called Truman and South of Superior.
Gates open at 3 p.m., with music starting at 4 p.m. The show concludes at 9 p.m.
