Handpicked vendors from all over the state of Minnesota and beyond bring junk, repurposed treasures and rusty finds to sell at the spring Junk Hunt, which runs May 11-13.

What started with a half-dozen antique vendors inside the Encounter building in 2012 has now grown to more than 125 booths inside two spaces at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center — the DECC Arena and Paulucci Hall.

There will be an array of different “junk” vendors from all over Minnesota and beyond showcasing all things vintage, antique and re-purposed. Customers can shop from a huge assortment of antique furniture and re-purposed home décor, as well as jewelry and other vintage items. There will also be a special “Early Bird” admission ticket available on Thursday evening for those hardcore junkers who want to shop before the rest of the crowds arrive.

In addition to shopping, customers will be able to enjoy food and beverages from the DECC concession area, as well as the farmers market section of the Duluth Junk Hunt.

General admission tickets are $5 online or $7 at the door, with part of the proceeds being donated to a local nonprofit Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank

The “Junk Hunks” will be on hand to help customers haul large pieces of furniture out to their cars, free of charge.
