  Gichi-Ode’ Akiing (Lake Place Park)

Freshwater Dance Collective presents Dances on the Lakewalk 2023 – A Festival of Dance in Duluth — two FREE outdoor dance concerts at Gichi-Ode’ Akiing (formerly Lake Place Park) at 7pm on Friday and Saturday July 7 and 8. This year our choreographers from Duluth, the Twin Cities, and Colorado gather to share dances expressing relationships of all kinds.  Journey through relationships of abstract patterns to the relations of romance, friends, and family with dash of jazz, folk, modern, and lyrical dance. New this year — the Tamarack Dance Association will follow the show with audience interactive folk-dance lesson.  Audience members are invited up to Gichi-Ode’ Akiing (Lake Place Park) to enjoy outdoor dances along the stunning background of Lake Superior and the Sculpture Garden. This production is partially supported by contributions to Dances on the Lakewalk GoFundMe:  https://gofund.me/67c0dd33

Gichi-Ode’ Akiing (Lake Place Park) is located at 214 East Superior Street, Duluth MN 55802. The park entrance is next to Zeitgeist.
