BEER POKING | 12-4 PM | FREE
Spike your beer with a red-hot iron! Frank Kaszuba, Director of Brewing Operations, along with other members of the Earth Rider brewing team, will be onsite from 12-6 PM to procure the age-old tradition of inserting a red-hot steel rod into your cold Earth Rider Bock beer: caramelizing the residual sugars, thus making it even more delicious! A colonial era tradition dating back over 400 years: when plunging the red hot metal rod into a beer the chemistry takes over by creating a steaming, bubbling effect as the sugars in the alcohol are being caramelized in front of your eyes!
FIRE PITS | ALL DAY
Our fire pits will be loaded with wood and burning throughout our snowy festival field all day and into the night. Outdoor seating and picnic tables are available. Bring your mitts and blankets!
GOAT PETTING AREA | 12:00-3:00 PM | FREE
Bring the ‘kids’ and pet a goat! That’s right, Bock beer and goats! Why goats? The beer we now know as bock originated in the Northern German city of Einbeck, as far back as the 1400s. By the 1600s bock beer was being brewed in the Munich area of Southern Germany. The name “Einbeck” was pronounced as “Einbock” in the Bavarian accent of the region – and “einbock” means “billy goat” in German. Fun for the whole family!

WINZIGE HOSEN | 9:30 PM
Mix the frosty beer steins, sweaty dance floor and amped-up accordions of polka music with electric-guitar power chords, shredded vocals and unhinged energy of punk rock and it sounds like Winzige Hosen. The seven-piece band was formed in 2018 and has been blowing out beer gardens and dance hall tents this side of the Munich Oktoberfest ever since. The group features the red tuba of Kala Moria, brewmeister Brian Schanzenbach on accordion, Luke Nyen and Abe Curran on guitars, trumpet player Patrick Sunderland, bassist Eric Bong and new drummer Tommy Kishida. Prost!
